Dr. Dyanne Marte
Dr. Dyanne earned a BFA in Fashion from the Savannah College of Art and Design, a Master's degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute, and a Doctorate in Education—Curriculum and Instruction: Instructional Design and Technology from Liberty University.
Before founding Threadnado, Dr. Dyanne operated several fashion lines from 2003 to 2014. Her career began in New York City, where she worked for NY & Co., J. Crew, and Doncaster. She has also taught two classes on Craftsy: The Perfect Wrap Knit Dress and Sewing Knits that Fit.
With 18 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Dyanne has been teaching fashion design and currently serves as the department chair of fashion at a community college in northern California.
